Brand Identity

Prince Bishops Shopping Centre is the city's premier shopping venue, located right in the heart of Durham with over 40 leading retailers and a range of unique boutiques.

Glow Creative were asked to rebrand the shopping centre, turning their more traditional style into something modern that still reflects the conventions of Durham and its heritage. 

We worked with the team to create a robust brand and implement brand guidelines throughout the business. Rebuilding their logo to embrace the new branding and redesigning the renowned symbol of Durham, the pectoral cross, into a more colourful and fresh identity.

Website

As part of the rebrand roll out, we were asked to create a new user-friendly website that reflected the shopping centre’s new ethos. The website’s refreshed visual approach was designed to be fully responsive and engaging, with a bespoke CMS system, allowing the client team to easily keep things up-to-date at all times.

Marketing Strategy

Glow Creative are the official marketing agency for Prince Bishops Shopping Centre and have a longstanding relationship with the client. As such, we look after all online and offline marketing, and manage campaigns throughout the year including specialist events such as Durham Lumiere, Santa’s Grotto and Prince Bishop’s Durham City Run.

Through our marketing and PR campaigns, we have successfully established strong relationships with potential and existing retailors, local businesses, local press and the general public, composing vital press releases for the company to reach their target audience and attract more customers to the centre.

Graphic Design

We also provided a design service for all marketing collateral, including posters, brochures, leaflets and promotional material as well as online graphics and adverts.

Social Media

We are responsible for all of the shopping centre’s social media outreach, maintaining a strong presence locally and further afield across their various social media platforms. We have increased social media engagement and followers in order to drive traffic to the malls and website as well as increasing enquiries.
